SENIOR SALES ACCOUNT MANAGER

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITY:

Manage the sales activity of a territory or market area to achieve revenue, gross margin and expense objectives. Implement plans to achieve strategic goals of the business unit. Effectively communications with appropriate executives and managers to ensure proper sensitivity to sales needs. Resolves different customer problems and may participate in important negotiations with key customers.

  • Provides direction to the sales and support staff to ensure that revenue, gross margin and OPEX goals in assigned area of responsibility are attained.
  • Set realistic revenue projections for executive management
  • Ensure accurate and timely sales forecasting and financial reporting.
  • Manages internal sales processes.
  • Define territory assignments and quota responsibility.
  • Participates with the sales representatives in the development of new customers, as well as, retention of existing customers.
  • Oversees contractual proposal preparation and contract negotiations.
  • Drives sales programs for new business and greater market penetration.
  • Provide feedback to senior management as it relates to sales/marketing strategies, product changes, etc.
  • May also manage sales support functions.

WORK EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

  • A minimum of 8 years’ of sales experience within the payments, Banking & Financial Services industry.
  • Experienced in consultative solution selling and value based selling.
  • Operationally disciplined – has experience in sales planning, establishing targets, managing sales metrics and performance.
  • Experienced working in and with the Banking & Financial Services industry in Indonesia, experience leading cross functional teams through tendering process. Familiar with Indonesian financial regulatory standards and requirements
  • Experienced in Channel Sales; has track record of developing, enabling and managing partners.
  • Possesses Banking and Financial industry-specific relationships and insights to the role, exposure to regional and emerging banking and financial institutions is a plus.
  • Strong verbal / written communication skills including meeting facilitation, executive presentations, and communication with all levels of management and staff.

EDUCATION:

  • Successful completion of university bachelor’s degree preferred
