Sales Manager –
Monogastric – Indonesia
An opportunity exists for an experienced Mongastric Sales Manager to join a leading Animal Nutrition company in Indonesia. As Sales Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing a detailed sales strategy to ensure consolidated sales revenue and margin budgets for the Monogastric sector are achieved.
- Achieve and grow revenue for monogastric products in Indonesia
- Develop and implement the market and key account sales activity strategy for Monogastric products
- Manage and coordinate product pricing under the direction of the Monogastric Sales Lead
- Provide technical and product knowledge support to customers, distributors and external consultants
- Enter and maintain CRM database for Monogastric accounts in an accurate and timely manner
- Deliver technical presentations to customers and at local industry Conferences/Seminars
- Assist the Technical Services Manager Monogastric (APAC) to set-up and execute commercial trials to demonstrate Monogastric product efficacy
Ideally you will be based in Jakarta and have a willingness to travel to meet key producers and feed manufacturers.
Qualifications, Experience and Skills
- Bachelor degree in animal science, animal nutrition, or agricultural science with formal qualifications in a monogastric-related field a distinct advantage
- A minimum of three years technical sales experience in the monogastric sector is preferred but candidates with the same length of experience selling to the livestock sector in Indonesia will be considered
- Outstanding presentation, selling and negotiating skills
- Capability and experience in creating, communicating and tailoring value-added sales propositions to key accounts using sound technical and commercial principles
- Results-oriented with a demonstrated track record of success in previous roles
- Clear, persistent, patient and proactive communication skills
- Self-motivated, able to work in an unsupervised capacity whilst maintaining the strategic business and customer focus
- Excellent distributor management and relationship-building skills
- Good written and spoken English
- Fluent written and spoken Indonesian
The position requires regular domestic travel throughout Indonesia to visit major producers, feed mills, consultants and influencers involved in monogastric production.
