As an Account Sales Engineer , the primary objective of this role is to maintain a mutual business relationship on a specific account(s) under LPI’s portfolio and to enhance this relationship to the new level, exceeding the targets and expectations through continuous interaction and by utilizing our comprehensive understanding and knowledge on top of creative engineering integration of our products and services. Your role would be to work with the team to execute the marketing strategy established by the management and respective Product Development team within your account(s) or region(s) and creating the positive communication environment and platform among all parties involved ( team, clients, vendors ). You will have to be responsible for creating the demand for the specified products to your account(s) and region(s). Your area of responsibility will grow as your management competency grows.
The role is very interesting and varied and there is a terrific opportunity for the successful candidate to, grow their career in product development and make a positive impact on the future growth and direction of the company. Your responsibilities will include:
- Liaising with the Product Development team to establish a top notch strategy for your specific account(s) and region(s).
- Providing appropriate marketing intelligent and inputs that will be useful for the development of the products going forward.
- Maintaining a good communication platform for all related parties as part of continuous interaction.
- Achieving or exceeding the sales target as the result of positive business relationships.
What will make you the ideal candidate for the role?
This role would ideally suit someone who:
- Has proven experience in the after market products for automotive or heavy mobile equipment or coming from strong background of mining or oil and gas or engineering field.
- Possesses the capability and desire to progress their career in this area. Skills and interests include strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Is a high mobility individual, including international travel and relocation to sites should needed.
- Is a prudent personnel with a desire to develop and assist people and a good team player.
- Possess a passion in sales, target oriented and welcoming new challenges
- Possess a strong time and project management skills.
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills.
