Position Summary: The Product Manager is responsible for developing and executing the cash management product strategy for the Indonesia market, covering a client base which consists of Multinationals, Local Corporates, Financial Institutions, and Non-bank FI’s. The product range includes domestic and international transactional banking services, cash investment and cash concentration structures, and foreign exchange. Reporting to country TS Product Head and through engagement with our internal technology, operations, client service, treasury partners and local regulators, the role will include managing the end to end product lifecycle, development of product specific strategies and product definitions, facilitating product standardisation, along with competitor, platform and data analysis. In your role you will play an important part in ensuring that the TS product perspective is represented in all critical discussions regarding the business, strategic and operational direction across Indonesia, as well as ensuing engagement across business partners Operations / Sales / Client Service and Delivery. The Cash Management Product Manager is also expected to represent TS in engagements with local regulators pertaining to new product launches, product enhancements and compliance with regulatory guidelines. Product Strategy: Understanding TS’s wider local vision and strategy for cash management and developing that in line with market trends and developments. Be across our competitive landscape and customer needs to clearly identify and articulate the Cash Management Strategy for Indonesia. Be linked into the Regional cash product team ensuring that Indonesia requirements form part of the plans for product development. Determine product specification Research market needs and up date gap analysis Own changes to the product specification (so that the product specification is always up-to-date) Own andupdate product related marketing and presentation material Participation at local andregional product approval committeesPrincipal Accountabilities: The profitability of Cash Management Products and Services Compliance of all products with local regulations, both internal and external Improve J.P. Morgan’s profile, market share and ‘share of mind’ in the market Assist in developing plans to close local product gaps in order to enhance our competitivenessProduct Development: Taking the strategy and identifying appropriate steps to deliver the strategy, by working with all the stakeholders across the business (Sales, Client Management, Operations, Technology, Finance, Compliance, Legal, Risk and Executive). Completion of product identification and development (including business cases) for new services or service extension projects Execution, implementation and delivery of product developments in line with local market needs Track and influence progress of significant product developments impacting the local client baseClient Engagement: Develop partnerships with our Sales and Account Management teams to engage with our clients and prospects and increase their understanding of our product capabilities. Product Standardization: Transparency over current state of standardisation Delivery of action plans to improve the level of standardisation and the profitability of the non-standard services.Qualifications: At least 8 years experience in financial service industry with significant experience in product development especially within transactional banking products. Exceptional ability to lead and direct the business agenda and influence the most senior levels of management across the organisation. Degree qualification or equivalent relevant on-the-job experience within wholesale financial services Clear understanding of the cash management business, working capital, client treasuries and influences in each. Familiarity with the various work flows of a transactionExcellent written and verbal English communication skills
