Primary purpose of this position is to plan and manage engineering, procurement, construction and safe delivery of GBC and DMLZ ventilation, Electrical backbones (EBB), ACIS Power Supply System, Process Control and Communication System and CIP 4 infrastructure. This includes providing world class project management services, including project plan and schedule preparation, resource planning, engineering and design development, cost estimation, cost control, material procurement, construction works, QA/QC monitoring, and start-up and commissioning works, for all Capital Projects efficiently and effectively, in order to ensure the achievement of customers’ needs, expectations and requirements and PTFI safety goals within the budget and timeframe according to company’s policies and procedures. The incumbent will work closely with the functional business groups within Central Services Division to ensure the efficiency and effectiveness of resource usage and project delivery. The position will also be responsible for application staff development and technology vendor relationship management.
Responsible for safety performance of entire project team and compliance to PTFI Fresh Standards. Additional responsibilities: 1. Direct, manage, plan, organize, supervise, review, control and approve all construction works, both for industrial and non-industrial in order to deliver it safety, timely, in good quality an cost effective to achieve project goals and objectives and meet project stake-holders expectations. 2.
Dire ct, plan, organize, supervise, review, control and approve manpower, small tools and construction equipment utilization for all industrial and non-industrial capital projects and construction work-orders to ensure effective and efficient resource utilization. 3. Review and approve the KPI’s and KRA’s and their actual achievements for Construction Department’s employees and to communicate the actual monthly achievements the employees and encourage them to excel and make progress on continuous improvement in the future. 4.
Direct, supervise, review and control NOSA and SHE programs implementation within Construction Department to ensure continuous improvement on Safety and Environmental compliance performance to support Company goals on Safety, Health and Environmental. 5. Review, evaluate, control and approve the prioritization of capital projects and construction work-orders in order to meet Company’s goals and objectives and better manpower and equipment utilization. 6.
Direct, plan, manage and control the establishment and implementation of training and development program to develop skill and knowledge of construction workforces especially for construction supervisors and contractor manpower so that more efficient construction methods and good quality of construction works can be obtained. 7. Review and evaluate the project status reports prepared by Project Control Department, such as project cost, schedule and productivity performance reports to make sure that the project running well and to enable solving the problems as early as possible. 8.
Review and evaluate project quality control reports prepared by QA/QC Department to make sure that the project meet specific quality standards and identify and solve quality problems as early as possible. 9. Plan, prepare, review and approve the constructability of a facility or a project during the conceptual design stage so that all construction requirements in terms of construction methods and equipment’s can be incorporated into design and cost estimates. 10.
Review, evaluate and approve project construction schedules prepared by Project Control Department to ensure that project logic sequence, constructability, resources limitations and other constraints are factored into the schedule and minimize risk of project delay. 11. Manage and control the maintenance of construction small tools, owned equipment’s, scaffoldings, concrete batching plant and other construction gears to ensure that they are always in good conditions and can be used safety. 12.
Keep good communication and contact with personnel, superiors, other departments and clients to enable managing the department smoothly. 13 Manage, review, evaluate, and approve the preparation of construction procedures and the updates and control and ensure that the procedures are communicated to all construction personnel and implemented on the field.
