Execute sales action plans. Deliver sales objectives, grow Abbott’s sales at pharmacy, focusing the priority products and developing sustainable pharmacist preference for Abbott taking into account commercial strategy (segmentation and targeting, value proposition to trade customer.
1. Have a solid knowledge and understanding of customer in the territory, sales, sales potential, organization, and purchasing criteria, deliver filed intelligence to Trade Marketing, and Brands Teams
2. Develop a strong Network in the territory, ensuring that all key influencers are frequently visited with the management (e.g. Pharmacist belong to Trade associations, influent pharmacists in chain). Develop and established relationship with all pharmacy team (pharmacy, counter team etc.)
3. Share best practices and insight internally, with management and sales counterpart.
4. Develop a routing system that optimizes coverage and frequency to consistently call metric.
5. Develop a thorough business plan for the most strategic pharmacies
6. Set Smart objectives for each visit, regarding sell-in and sell-out actions
7. Use Commercial policy and value proposition to determine strategy and tactic to maximize customer’s growth and commitments toward Abbott
8. Execute store check, stock level check, and follow up sell out data at each visit.
9. Understand accurately pharmacist’s need and expectation, opportunities and threat for Abbott, as well as competition’s practices.
10. Customer approach to customer when relevant. Proper execute customer loyalty program (if relevant)
11. Demonstrate to pharmacy the profit they realize thanks to Abbott’s value proposition
12. Ensure Abbott’s brand are effectively available in store, visible when applicable (space management and display, in store communication and promotion), and actively recommended (counter team skill development / training, etc.)
- Bachelor Degree (or Equivalent) preferred
- Minimum 1-2 years of commercial / sales experience in Pharmaceutical (OTC) industry that involve working closely with customer to deliver result
- Experience in healthcare (OTC), FMCG
- Good understanding of Trade Marketing Activities
- Strong presentation skill, consultative selling skill, negotiation skill
